The M22759/11 is a premium quality, heavy-duty aerospace wire that conforms to the SAE AS 22759/11 standard (formerly MIL-W-22759/11). Featuring a silver-plated copper conductor extruded with a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation layer, this wire is engineered for extreme environments where high temperatures, smoke emission, and flammability are critical concerns.
High & Low-Temperature Tolerance: Rated for continuous operation from -55°C to +200°C. The PTFE insulation remains stable and effective without compromising its dielectric properties.
Exceptional Dielectric Strength: PTFE offers a high volume resistivity and low dielectric loss, ensuring excellent insulation and high breakdown voltage unaffected by frequency or environmental changes.
Flame Resistance & Self-Extinguishing: The insulation is inherently non-flammable. In the event of a fire, it will not propagate flames and self-extinguishes immediately upon removal of the ignition source.
Superior Chemical Resistance: PTFE is inert to nearly all chemicals and solvents, including concentrated acids, bases, and hydrocarbons.
Aircraft Wiring: Ideal for engine compartments, avionics bays, and fuselage wiring where high temperatures and vibration are present.
