The RG120 takes the proven RG119 high-power, high-voltage core and adds a non-magnetic aluminum alloy braided armor. It is engineered for the harshest physical environments—outdoor towers, underground tunnels, mining sites, coastal installations, and mi litary field deployments—where ordinary cables fail from rodent damage, crushing, abrasion, or corrosion. With the same 6000W power handling, 6000 VRMS voltage rating, and 250°C continuous operation as the RG119, the RG120 delivers uncompromised electrical performance with a mechanical armor that survives where others cannot.
This is not a flexible jumper. This is a permanent, fixed-installation power trunk built like a tank.
Non-Magnetic Aluminum Alloy Armor – Provides mechanical protection without introducing hysteresis or eddy current losses.
Rodent-Resistant & Crush-Resistant – Aluminum braid armor protects against gnawing, foot traffic, and heavy equipment.
6000 VRMS Maximum Voltage – High-voltage capability for transmitters, RF heating, and high-voltage test systems.
6000W Power Handling at 0.1 GHz – Massive low-frequency power capacity.
Ultra-Low Attenuation – 0.049 dB/m at 0.1 GHz, 0.181 dB/m at 1.0 GHz.
250°C Continuous Operation – Glass fiber braided jacket with PTFE barrier for extreme heat.
Triple-Layer Defense System – PTFE barrier + glass fiber jacket + aluminum alloy armor.
Corrosion-Resistant – Aluminum oxide layer provides natural protection in humid, coastal, and outdoor environments.
MIL-DTL-17 Qualified – M17/52-RG120 reliability for defense and industrial systems.
Permanent Fixed Installation – Engineered for stability under wind, vibration, and mechanical stress.
The RG120 is not simply a cable with an extra jacket. It is a three-layer defense system:
PTFE Tape Barrier – Protects the core from glass fiber particles and mechanical stress.
.Fiberglass Braid Jacket – Provides 250°C thermal insulation and high-temperature survival.
.Aluminum Alloy Braided Armor – Delivers non-magnetic mechanical protection against rodents, crushing, abrasion, and corrosion.
Each layer solves a different threat. Together, they make the RG120 one of the most durable high-power coaxial cables available.

Selection Guide:
Choose RG120 when the cable will be exposed to rodents, foot traffic, crushing, moisture, salt spray, or harsh outdoor conditions.
Choose RG119 when the installation is indoors, protected, and mechanical armor is not required.
Both share the same electrical performance. The RG120 adds a non-magnetic aluminum armor for extreme physical survival.
