The AFR-ET Sh E SPC series is a PTFE lightweight served shield cable built for moving machinery and tight spaces. The conductor uses extra flexible stranded electrolytic silver plated annealed copper, delivering high flexibility for applications that bend, twist, and cycle continuously. Insulation and jacket are wrapped and sintered PTFE tape, providing chemical resistance, low smoke, and stable performance across temperature extremes.
The spiral shield wraps silver plated copper wire helically around the core. This design blocks EMI while keeping the cable flexible enough for robotic arms and cable carriers. Unlike braided shields that add stiffness, the spiral construction bends freely and terminates easily.
Available as single core (E1), twisted pairs (E2), and twisted triples (E3), the AFR-ET Sh E SPC series suits instrumentation, control, and signal transmission in automation, robotics, and semiconductor equipment.

Industrial robotics & automation – Served shield cable flexes continuously in robotic arms and pick-and-place machines. Extra fine stranded conductor survives millions of cycles. Lightweight construction reduces inertia in moving assemblies.
Automated test equipment (ATE) – Production test fixtures require wiring that bends repeatedly without breaking. Spiral shield provides EMI protection while maintaining flexibility for probe card interfaces and docking systems.
Semiconductor handling equipment – Cleanroom compatible PTFE construction generates minimal particulates. Small outer diameter fits tight cable chains in wafer transfer robots and sorters.
Medical device manufacturing – High flex life cable for moving gantries and imaging system positioning. Silver plated conductor provides non-magnetic signal transmission for MRI-adjacent equipment.
Aerospace ground support – Portable test carts and ground support equipment need lightweight, flexible cable that withstands frequent handling. PTFE insulation resists fuel, oil, and deicing fluids.
Defense field diagnostics – Deployable test sets require cable that coils easily for transport. Served shield delivers EMI protection without the stiffness of braided alternatives. 250V rating suits tactical communication systems.
Laboratory automation – Liquid handling robots and sample management systems need high flex life cable for XYZ stages. Lightweight construction reduces motor load. PTFE resists lab chemicals.
Packaging machinery – High speed wrapping and filling equipment requires cable that survives continuous motion. Multi-core configurations deliver signal and power in one jacket.
Q: What is the difference between E1, E2, and E3 configurations?
A: E1 is single core. E2 is twisted pairs. E3 is twisted triples.
Q: What is the voltage rating of AFR-ET Sh E SPC series?
A: 250V, suitable for instrumentation and control circuits in industrial equipment and test fixtures.
Q: What is the continuous temperature rating?
A: PTFE wrapped and sintered construction supports continuous operation from -90°C to 200°C.
Q: Why choose served shield cable over braided shield for robotics applications?
A: Served shield cable provides superior flexibility and longer flex life, essential for robotic arms and drag chain installations where cables bend repeatedly.
Q: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a professional manufacturer of high temperature PTFE multi-core cables, based in China, serving industrial automation, aerospace, and medical industries.
Q: What is your MOQ for AFR-ET Sh E SPC series?
A: Standard MOQ is 1,000 meters for E1, E2, and E3 configurations. Custom multi-core cables may require higher minimums. Contact our sales team for flexible options.
Q: Can I get a sample before placing a production order?
A: Yes. Samples are available upon request. A nominal fee may apply, which is fully deductible from your subsequent bulk order.
Q: What is the lead time for custom orders?
A: Custom multi-core cables typically require 10-15 working days after order confirmation.
