The M27500 WP and WR series are shielded and jacketed, multi-core signal cable engineered for high-temperature aerospace, defense, and industrial applications, meeting the rigorous requirements of MIL-DTL-22759/91 (WP) and MIL-DTL-22759/92 (WR) standards. These cables feature a lightweight composite insulation of PTFE/polyimide/PTFE tape, which provides exceptional thermal stability and mechanical strength, while the outer jacket—composed of FEP/polyimide tape covered by a PTFE tape outer layer—ensures resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and extreme environmental conditions.
With a voltage rating of 600V and temperature ratings ranging from -55°C to 200°C (WP) or 260°C (WR), these M27500 cables are ideal for critical signal transmission in jet engines, avionics systems, and high-heat industrial equipment. The WP type uses silver-plated copper conductors for optimal conductivity, while the WR type features nickel-plated copper conductors for enhanced high-temperature performance. Both types include a nickel- or silver-plated copper braid shield (85% coverage) to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring reliable signal integrity in the most demanding environments.
